Schools, businesses, churches and other civic groups are encouraged to help eliminate hunger in Central Indiana by participating in the We Build Together Extreme Food Drive.
In conjunction with The Estridge Companies and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition you are invited to participate in a food drive with a twist. Canned, boxed and non-perishable food items are being collected for
Second Helpings for the 2900 meals they prepare daily. They will also distribute food to other hunger relief agencies, including
Gleaner’s Food Bank.
Your organization is encouraged to collect food items from Wednesday, March 25th through Sunday April 12th. Make it fun - instead of gathering these items in tubs and storing them in a corner use the donated food items to build a home or building. Stack cereal boxes on top of jars of applesauce to build walls or take 300 cans of green beans and build a model of the Great Pyramids.
We’ll be gathering your pictures, videos and commentary throughout the food drive and will post a collection from across the city on
www.Estridge.com.

Please be safe and don't damage any of the food items while building. We are specifically looking to collect: rice, pasta & pasta sauce, herbs & spices.
